What is medically supervised weight management?

Medically supervised weight management empowers you to take control of your health through a combination of nutritional changes, exercise guidance, vitamin injections, and peptide therapy.

By partnering with Jessica and the team at Rise and Thrive Healthcare, you can lose weight, optimize your health, and improve your quality of life.

How does medically supervised weight management work?

At Rise and Thrive Healthcare, Jessica and the team take a patient-centric approach to medically supervised weight management. After a physical exam, a review of your medical records, and a series of lab tests, they might recommend:

Nutritional changes

Maintaining a healthy weight requires you to eat a balanced and nutritious diet. The team can make recommendations based on your age and unique medical needs. Ideally, you should try to eat meals and snacks that feature fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, nuts, legumes, and seeds.

Exercise guidance

To burn calories, you need to stay physically active. Fortunately, it’s possible to exercise, no matter your current weight or level of physical fitness. After a physical exam and an evaluation of your muscle strength, flexibility, and balance, the team can develop an exercise program that aligns with your needs.

Vitamin injections

Diet and exercise can help you lose weight, but other treatments are sometimes necessary. Jessica and the team offer several vitamin injection cocktails designed for weight management, including MICC (fat burning formula), Lipo-Stat (fat burning plus energy), and Lipo-Mino-Mix (fat burning, energy, and appetite suppressant).

Peptide therapy

Peptides, the building blocks of protein, are chains of amino acids that deliver hormones directly to your bloodstream. In some cases, they also trigger lipolysis or the breakdown of fat cells. When combined with other types of weight management, peptide therapy can help you maximize your results.

Jessica and the team offer several types of peptide therapy, including sermorelin therapy, ipamorelin therapy, and human growth hormone (HGH) therapy.

When do I experience results from medically supervised weight management?

The time it takes to experience results from medically supervised weight management depends on various factors, including your age, original weight, and commitment to the treatment plan. Most people lose several pounds during the first few weeks, but it may take several months or even a year to achieve lasting results. Be patient and follow your provider’s instructions.
